Mrs. Parker's 3rd Grade Class
"Be Somebody that Makes Everybody Feel Like Somebody!"
I am looking forward to teaching 3rd grade at Legacy Elementary this year. I previously taught 3rd grade at nearby Hillside Elementary for five years. I'm thrilled to get to know my new group of Labs! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Governors University. Third grade is an exciting year and I always look forward to exploring and growing with my students.
I grew up in Loudoun County and attended Arcola Elementary, Simpson Middle School, and Loudoun County High School. I currently live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with my husband of 23 years, and our three amazing children. Lauren(18) will be headed to George Mason University this fall to pursue a degree in Criminology and Forensic Psychology. Erin(15) is a sophomore at Millbrook High School, and my son John(12) is a seventh grader at James Wood Middle School.
During my free time I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, watching my kids play sports, and spending time with my family and friends.
We are going to have a lot of fun in 3rd Grade this year and I am looking forward to the months to come. I strive for all students to find success in the classroom, both academically and personally. I am happy to work with you to ensure your child is enjoying the learning process and understanding what is asked of them. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to an AWESOME year!
