Music is an integral part of your child’s education.  When we hear and play music, many functions of the brain are used simultaneously: hearing, memory, learning, motor control, emotional response and creativity. Scientific studies have shown over and over again that young people who have the opportunity to experience music benefit in many ways. Our music program focuses on four areas: singing, listening, movement, and playing instruments.  Students in grades K through 5 attend music class two times each week for thirty minute periods.
