Croft
Cortney Croft (Grades: 1, 2, 3, and 5)
 
Mrs. Croft is the full time counselor at Cedar Lane.  This is her 17th year as a counselor in Loudoun County. She will be working primarily with 1, 2, 3 and 5 grades.  Mrs. Croft completed her studies at Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelors Degree in Family and Child Development and a Masters Degree in School Counseling.  Go Hokies! In her spare time Mrs. Croft enjoys spending time with her family, reading and playing outdoors.  She looks forward to a wonderful, exciting school year at Cedar Lane.

                                           Patricia Daniela Montealegre (Grades K, 4)

 daniela Mrs. Montealegre is Cedar Lane’s itinerant school counselor. She is here at Cedar Lane Tuesdays and Thursdays, at Moorefield Station Mondays and Fridays, and at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School on Wednesdays. Mrs. Montealegre will be primarily working with kindergarten and fourth grade. She completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University and earned a Masters Degree in School Counseling at George Mason University. Mrs. Montealegre worked as an Elementary School Counselor in Nicaragua, where her family is originally from. In her free time, Mrs. Montealegre loves playing the acoustic guitar, going for long walks with her son and Boston Terrier, and watching documentaries. Mrs. Montealegre had the great opportunity to work as an intern at Cedar Lane at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year. She is excited to officially be part of the Cedar Lion’s Family and is looking forward to a fun and productive school year at Cedar Lane.
