Welcome to the 4th grade page! We are all so excited to be starting another year filled with fun and learning.
Fourth Grade Teachers
This is my ninth year teaching fourth grade in Loudoun County, and my sixth year as a Weller Wild Cat! I grew up here in Loudoun and graduated from Park View High School, and then went to college at Radford University in Southwest Virginia. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in math and social sciences. After graduation, I went straight to graduate school and obtained my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford as well. My hobbies include playing with Lucy & Lila (my 9 year old Husky-mix, and my 5 year old golden retriever), traveling (especially if a beach is involved), and photography (so don't be surprised if your child brings pictures home!). I'm so excited for another school year with the wild cats!
This is my 21st year teaching. I spent 16 years with Fairfax County and this will be my fifth year here at Steuart Weller in Loudoun. I earned my teaching degree at George Mason University. I really love math! I am married and have two children. My son, Andrew (18), is starting his first year of college at Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! Nicole (16), my daughter, is a junior at John Champe High School. I also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Winston who just turned 10 years old! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, but the majority of my spare time is spent watching my children play lacrosse and soccer. I am looking forward to a great year in 4th grade.
This is my fourth year teaching in Loudoun County, and my third year at Steuart
Weller. I am so excited to be a part of
this fabulous Wildcat Team! Prior to coming to Loudoun County I taught
grades 3 – 5 for 11 years in Murrieta, CA.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University San
Marcos with a concentration in literature. In addition to teaching, I coach the after school Math Olympiad program here at Weller.
I have two children who are both involved in a lot of activities, so I
spend a lot of my time cheering on the sidelines at various sports and dance events. I also love to
travel, read, hike, and explore new places.
I’m looking forward to another great year at Steuart Weller!
This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Steuart Weller, and I absolutely love this grade level! I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Wildcat family. I graduated from James Madison University with my Masters of Arts in Teaching. I also did my undergrad at JMU and earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. GO DUKES! In my free time, I love to travel, cook, Amazon shop, and spend as much time with my adorable puppy as possible. I am so excited to be working with you this school year, and I look forward to another great year in 4th grade!
I am very excited to be returning to the classroom at Weller as I enter my 19th year of teaching. Prior to moving into returning to third grade, I taught both first grade and was the TRT here at Weller. I am inaugural member of Steuart Weller and have enjoyed watching our school grow.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Mobile, Mobile Alabama and my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Virginia. I am excited about the many things we have going on here at Weller. When I am away from school I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and our dog Minka. I love reading and going to the beach. I am excited for a great year.
