This is my seventh year teaching fourth grade in Loudoun County, and my fourth year as a Weller Wild Cat!  I grew up here in Loudoun and graduated from Park View High School, and then went to college at Radford University in Southwest Virginia.  I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in math and social sciences.  After graduation, I went straight to graduate school and obtained my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford as well.  My hobbies include playing with Lucy & Lila (my 7 year old Husky-mix, and my 3 year old golden retriever), traveling (especially if a beach is involved), and photography (so don't be surprised if your child brings pictures home!).  I'm so excited for another school year with the wild cats!

This is my 19th year teaching.  I spent 16 years with Fairfax County and this will be my third year here at Steuart Weller in Loudoun. I earned my teaching degree at George Mason University. I really love teaching math! I am married and have two children. My son, Andrew (16), is a junior this year at John Champe High School and my daughter, Nicole (14), is a freshman. I also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Winston who just turned 8 years old! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, but the majority of my spare time is spent watching my children play lacrosse and soccer. I am looking forward to a great year in 4th grade.

This is my second year teaching at Steuart Weller.  I earned my teaching degree at Penn State University and am working on earning my Master's degree in Reading from George Mason University.  I really love teaching reading!  I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and I like to take my dog, Stella, on walks.  My hobbies include crocheting, watching movies, and gardening!  I am looking forward to a great year in 4th grade.  Go Wildcats!

I feel truly blessed to be teaching the children of Steuart W. Weller Elementary.  It is my honor to empower students to reach and exceed their academic goals while also showing students their importance in our class community, the Garden.   I have recently moved to Virginia with my family, which includes my husband, my three children Shelby 20, Sophia 15, and Jack 12.   My family along with my two dogs are the cornerstone of my life.  We have many journeys and stories to share.
In Texas I earned my degree in Education with a specialization in Biology from the University of North Texas.  I  received my certification in both Virginia and Texas in Early Childhood Education and English as a Second Language.    I am beginning my 16 year teaching with 13 years in first grade and 2 years teaching preschool aged students at a Reggio preschool.  My greatest accomplishments as a teacher are my students.  I recognize my students for who they are and who they can be.   I convince them with a soft voice and a lot of joy that they can achieve their dreams.  My students have so much to offer the world and l show them the world is waiting for them.  I am so excited to welcome in the newest children to the Garden.

This is my second year teaching in Loudoun County, and my first year at Steuart Weller.  I am so excited to be a part of this fabulous Wildcat Team!  My family and I just recently made the move to Virginia from Southern California.  Prior to coming to Loudoun County I taught grades 3 – 5 for 12 years in Murrieta, CA.  I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University San Marcos with a concentration in literature.  I have two children who are both involved in a lot of activities, so I spend a lot of my time cheering on the sidelines at various sports and gymnastics events.  I also love to travel, read, hike, and explore new places.  I’m looking forward to a great year at Steuart Weller!

This will be my second year teaching 4th grade at Steuart Weller, and I absolutely love this grade level! I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Wildcat family. I graduated from James Madison University with my Masters of Arts in Teaching.  I also did my undergrad at JMU and earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  GO DUKES! In my free time, I love to travel, paint, cook, and spend as much time with my adorable puppy as possible.
