Dear Second Grade Students and Parents,

Welcome to a new and exciting year in second grade! We hope you are having a wonderful summer and are eagerly awaiting the start of a new school year. We know we are. We have a lot of fun and exciting things planned that we can’t wait to share with you through the year. Some exciting topics we’ll be covering are Ancient China, geometry, weather, and animal habitats. In addition, we will create fun projects, play exciting math games, and read great stories together.

Please come to our Open House and Back to School Night. This would be a great time to bring your school supplies and get your desk ready for your first day. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,
The Second Grade Team
