About Miss Goitia

Hello! My name is Shea Goitia (or "Miss G", as my students tend to call me). I am a first-year teacher and I could not be more excited to be not only in Loudoun County, but here at Liberty! Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, I've called Harrisonburg, Virginia "home" for the past 4 years while attending James Madison University. I graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and concentrations in Art Education and Fiber Arts.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing letters to pen pals, baking cheesecakes, painting, and sewing. I absolutely love Harry Potter books and dachshunds (wiener dogs) and have one myself, named Sweetle!

I am so excited to join the family here at Liberty in preparing students to be active thinkers, learners, and most of all...ARTISTS!!
If you ever have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me
