Welcome to Technology
Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School
Computers are an intergal part of the curriculum at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School. We are fortunate to have 4 computers and a SmartBoard in each classroom to help integrate technology into all subject areas. All students in grades K-5 will attend Computer Lab once a week for 30 minutes in which the teachers will complete integrated activities based on the curriculum to broaden the students understanding through technology-rich lessons. The 3rd-5th graders will receive 20 minutes each week for Math SME and 40 minutes of instructional time. The students and teachers have access to the lab, two laptop carts, Neo Carts, Flip Cameras, Digital Cameras, Senteos and a Smart Document Camera. All these items are available for scheduled classes, individuals or small groups to utilize the software and knowledge of the Technology Resource Team.
