Reading at Rosa Lee Carter
Sandra Harvey, Nora Blair

Sandra Harvey

I have been teaching in Loudoun County for over 15 years. I earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from State University of New York College at Fredonia. During my time in Loudoun County, I have taught first grade in addition to Title I Reading. It  is pleasure to be a member of the Rosa Lee Carter family and I am looking forward to helping students become successful life-long readers.

Nora Blair

I am thrilled to be with Rosa Lee Carter again this year. I have a love for literacy and look forward to helping students in their reading journeys.  I truly enjoy being able to work with small groups of students to build a love of reading.  I was a classroom teacher for 13 years and use that background as a reading specialist. This is my fifth year in this position and I am excited to continue working in this capacity with students. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English and Elementary Education from Bridgewater College, VA and my Master's degree in Reading from Salem State College, MA. I look forward to working with parents and students to help students become life-long readers.
