As Principal of Rosa Lee Carter Elementary, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to be a member of this great school, and community. Rosa Lee Carter continues to enjoy a rich history of academic and cultural excellence that is the result of a collegial partnership between the school staff and parents who provide a diversity of experiences for our children. I am truly honored to be in this position and am looking forward to continuing to work with our dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students.
My professional career began over 20 years ago in Charleston, West Virginia. I had the pleasure of teaching and leading staff members of Kanawha County Schools and have brought these rich experiences with me to Northern Virginia. The last five years in Loudoun County have been quite fruitful.
My goal as your principal is to cultivate a learning community where all students will grow in knowledge, teachers will actively engage students in learning, and parents are seen as valued partners in their child’s education.
I am excited about Rosa Lee Carter’s future and look forward to meeting each and every one of you. Your connection to our school is imperative for our success. Should you have any comments, questions or concerns, please know I am here to have that dialogue with you. Again, I'm privileged and honored to be your elementary school Principal.
