Welcome to the Waterford Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization! When you child walks through the doors of Waterford Elementary, parents, you too go back to school, as a member of the PTO. Every parent with a child attending Waterford Elementary is automatically a member of the PTO, for free! What a deal! Being a member of the PTO is very easy. However, it does require a commitment to making your child’s time at Waterford the best it can be, and sometimes this requires a volunteering an hour or two, or three….
Volunteering is painless, fun and can be very gratifying. The dedicated efforts of Waterford parents have rewarded our students with a new play ground, the latest technology, interesting assemblies, school supplies, ice cream social, a skating party, dances, an outstanding reading incentive program, and incredible school play. (Just to mention a few) Of course, all of this great “stuff” does require fundraising. Check back to the website from time to time for volunteer opportunities. It is a great way to get to know your school and make friends.
Thank you for taking the first step in being an active part of your child’s school.
