Mission Statement:

In the school library media center, we strive to:

Work actively with the members of the school community to support student achievement
Create a library atmosphere which is conducive to learning by encouraging students to be responsible, respectful, and self- disciplined
Connect students and faculty with print and online resources necessary to successfully complete projects and assignments through instruction in the skills needed to effectively access, evaluate, use and communicate information
Introduce students to books and authors which will stretch their minds and imaginations, encouraging and nurturing a lifelong love of reading

Library Policies:

We are open every day from 7:30 - 2:50.

Every student has a weekly scheduled time to visit the library with his/her class.

Students are encouraged to visit the library at additional times in order to exchange books, conduct research, and complete classroom projects.

We are very happy to help individuals or small groups of students with their work.

Students are expected to take proper care of library materials and return/ renew them in a timely manner.

Interested in lending a hand?

Our library volunteers mean the world to us! They cheerfully set up and "man" book fairs, assist with RIF book distributions, and get new materials ready for circulation. If you have a few hours to spare during the school day, please consider joining us as a volunteer. Contact Ms. Weiner for details.
