In my last year of high school, I came to the USA as an exchange student from El Salvador to Louisiana. At that time I did not like American football. Ironically, I attended one of the craziest football schools LSU! GO TIGERS :)
After graduating with a degree in Finance, I moved to VA and worked as a financial planner for 10 years.
I have two A++ daughters, Rachel & Bianka as well as a great husband, Chris . We have lived in the Potomac Falls area for 24 years.
I quit my financial planning job to spend more time with my family. Then, I started substituting part time at LCPS and discovered my passion for teaching! I went back to school to earn my teaching license. I have been teaching Spanish for 11 years at the high, middle, and elementary school levels. I love teaching, enjoy meeting the students and the parents. This is my 5th year at Horizon Elementary, 2nd year at Lowes Island, and 1st year at Potomac and Sterling Elementary Schools.
I enjoy dancing, reading, eating, exercising, traveling and watching American football. My family and I love hosting students and missionaries from all over the world in our home. After school, I tutor high school students, and teach Latin dance classes.
I look forward meeting you and your children this year.
