    Sanders Corner Flea Market:
    The Sanders Corner Flea Market is a great chance to not only meet and greet fellow dolphin families, but to also have a chance to sell some loved (but unwanted) items. Join the fun as we set up our very own Sanders Corner Flea Market.  Our parking lot will be transformed into a sellers market.  Sell items right from your trunk, or purchase the use of a table to set up your own stall.  ** RAIN OR SHINE, sellers are welcome to bring a tent or canopy **
    Set up begins at 6:45 am. Flea Market runs from 7 am - 11 am. (At 11 am, tables will begin to be taken down to prepare for the Carnival.)  

    There are two possible ways to participate:
    1.  $20. Cost includes two adjacent parking spaces (one for your car, one for your items), 6' table, free advertising throughout the community and breakfast treats.
    2.  $15. Cost includes two adjacent parking spaces (one for your car, one for your items), free advertising throughout the community and breakfast treats.
    To participate, please sign up viaPay4SchoolStuff.   Non-Sanders Corner Families are Welcome to Participate and can pay by check, payable to Sanders Corner PTA and mailed to school. Payment must be received by May 12th.   A minimum of 5 participants must sign up by May 1 for the event to run. For more information, please email Ali Little

    All members are encouraged to attend the May 18 General PTA meeting at 7:00pm to vote on this slate of officers.

    Nominations for office can be made at the PTA meeting if additional candidates wish to run. Nominees must be seconded by another PTA member to qualify as an official candidate.
    Voting will take place and winners will be announced at the meeting.
    Yearbook Sales:
    Orders are now being taken for the 2015-16 Sanders Corner Yearbook. Once again, the yearbook cover will be personalized to feature your child's name and photo. If you would like to order a plain cover yearbook with no personalization, please pay cash in person at the school office. This option is popular with teachers, as well as families that have more than one child at Sanders Corner, but only want one yearbook. These orders cannot be processed online, so the cost is $20.


    Parents are asked to use Lifetouch's online ordering system to reduce the amount of cash/checks students and teachers are handling at school. Using the online system also reduces personalization errors as parents control how their student's name appears on the cover.
    The price will increase to $20 on April 1 and the online ordering system will close on April 22. No exceptions!
    We do NOT order extra yearbooks. Lifetouch occasionally sends us limited extra copies, but this is not guaranteed. Any copies we receive will be sold on a first come, first served CASH basis when the yearbooks arrive.

    If you don't want to or can't use Lifetouch's online ordering system, we can accept CASH payments at the school office. You or your student should bring the money to Mrs. Hannam or Mrs. Cowden as teachers will not be collecting yearbook money. The cost is $20. (Early bird pricing is available for online orders only.) Be prepared to specify whether you want a personalized cover or plain cover. We cannot accept checks.

    Bonus Dollars Programs are merchant programs that support the school and PTA with additional funds or supplies. They are a great way to support Sanders Corner and require very little extra time or effort. You can link your Giant card, Harris Teeter VIC card, and Target RedCard to earn money for Sanders Corner.   • Why Join the PTA?

    The PTA supports school and staff programs, such as cultural arts assemblies, technology needs, classroom support through teacher/staff reimbursements, educational support including supplementing field trip costs, and much more!

    The PTA sponsors many fun, community-building events throughout the year, including Spooktacular Bingo, Reflections, Holiday Shoppe, Bedtime Story Night, Winterfest, Staff Basketball Game, WatchDOGS, and Staff Appreciation Week. The PTA also coordinates the After School Enrichment Programs.

    It's a great way to stay in the know about school events and volunteer opportunities through monthly meetings and electronic communications.

    There are great member benefits, including a free student directory, bonuses at PTA-sponsored events, such as extra raffle tickets and discounts at national merchants/venues.
