Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than student who do not have regular attendance. (ref: US Dept of Education, National Center for Education Statistics)
Absence from school for any period of time will result in the loss of learning. It is important for each student to be present whenever possible to take full advantage of educational opportunities. Students are required to make up work missed, regardless of the reason for absence.
Any student having an absence total exceeding 15% in a semester or a year long course (excused or unexcused) may be considered for of denial of credit.
