I am thrilled to be Leesburg Elementary’s newest Assistant Principal! I have been part of the LES family since 2001. I became Assistant Principal in 2011, but for ten years, I taught elementary general music classes in Grades One through Five at LES. Prior to coming here, I taught for five years in Norfolk Public Schools. My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Old Dominion University, a Master of Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory, and a Master of Education in Education Leadership from George Mason University. I also completed a certificate program in Information Technology from the University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
I have lived in Leesburg since 2001, and I currently serve on the Board of my Homeowners’ Association. I also enjoy traveling whenever I can, as well as attending events with friends locally.
I am pleased to already know so many students and families, and I look forward to meeting those of you who are new to LES. Please contact me at any time if I may be of assistance to you.
