 Now in its 26th year, the Loudoun County Parent Resource Center (PRC) is a place where parents and professionals can come to learn about a variety of disabling conditions, the special education process, and resources available to special needs students and their families or families whose children are experiencing difficulties in school, home or the community.

 Meetings are open to the public and held from 7 to 9 pm at the LCPS Administration Building
    If LCPS schools are closed, then the SEAC meeting will be canceled.

A 3 Day Workshop:  Transition Series:  Critical School-to-Community Planning
for Youth with Disabilities and their Families beginning March 7
For students age age 14-25
Become empowered by learning about employment, housing, transportation, SSI,
Medicaid, Health Ins., Wills/Trusts, Recreation and More
Students are invited and separate activities will be provided for them.

Sunday, Feb. 15, 1:00 pm  
Teens who would like to work on teamwork and general social skills in a facilitated, supportive environment are invited to play video games while their parents meet for friendship and networking. Suggested for teens with mild autism spectrum disorders (ASD), anxiety disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders (AD/HD) or similar. Facilitated by a special educator.
