Rhonda Lopez - Assistant Principal
I am excited to begin my new journey as your Assistant Principal this year. I knew from the moment that I walked into the doors of Guilford that this was a special place. Although I am new to many of you, I am not new to Loudoun County Public Schools. I have worked in this county for over 17 years and 4 years outside of the county. The past two years, I have been fortunate enough to be the Administrative Intern for Steuart Weller and Seldens Landing. As a teacher, I have taught Kindergarten, First, Fourth, and Sixth grades. All in all I love teaching and working with children and their families. This is one of the reasons that I am thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life as a member of the administrative team at Guilford.
I grew up in the DC Metropolitan area, so I truly call this area home. I have a wonderful support system that includes my husband and two children who both attend Loudoun County Public Schools. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Oral Roberts University, a Master’s degree in Middle School Ed. from George Mason University, and an Educational Leadership Degree from American College of Education.
I am thrilled to be a GATOR and look forward to meeting a whole new community of gators! Please take some time to introduce yourself. I expect to see many of your smiling faces this year in the place “Where Smiles Never End”. Go GATORS!!
