Welcome to 5th Grade!
holds both a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from James Madison University. She was born and raised just outside of Frederick, MD, where she spends a lot of her time with her family. Ms. Biser enjoys traveling, being outside, reading, and going to the beach with friends. She is very excited to be teaching the Fifth grade at Frances Hazel Reid this school year!
holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She is currently finishing her Master's degree in Library Sciences from Longwood University. Mrs. Ceppi has taught sixth/seventh grade Reading for a year, first grade for a year, and then fifth grade over the course of ten years in Lincoln, California. After that for three years she taught fifth grade at Lowes Island Elementary School in Loudoun County. She is very excited to be a part of the FHR family for her seventh year in fifth grade! Her interests include loving and protecting nature, reading, music, cheering for and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Pittsburgh Penguins, and spending time with her husband Brian, son Dylan, and daughter Delilah.
holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. This will be her ninth year teaching and her second year teaching at Frances Hazel Reid. Ms. Davis loves to sit on her front porch and read a good book or play games with her boys. She enjoys organizing, cooking, creating instructional materials and kayaking.
holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6) from Western Governors University. Prior to joining the fifth grade team, she enjoyed 6 years of working closely with the English Language Learners at FHR. She is an active member of the school’s PBiS team, supporting positive student behavior in order to foster respect, responsibility, and relationships. Her interests include music, travel, reading, fitness, playing golf, and studying foreign languages. Her favorite activity is spending time with her wonderful husband and three amazing children.
holds a B.A. degree in English from Mary Washington College and a M. Ed. in Education from Marymount University. She has taught both second and fifth grades in Loudoun County, and she is a member of the charter staff of FHR. Mrs. Puterio also coaches Cross Country at Tuscarora High School. Her interests include spending time with her family, running, reading, and traveling. She is looking forward to an outstanding upcoming 2015-2016 school year!
holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Lebanon Valley College. He has taught eleven years in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and eleven years in Loudoun County. He enjoys playing various sports such as golf, basketball, volleyball and flag football. His other interests include being outside, weight lifting, running and spending time with his wife, Sandy and his two beautiful daughters, Aubrey and Brooke.
