Leo Club will start its second year next month. This year there will be a limited number of members so any students interested in joining need to get a form from Mrs. Jensen's classroom door at H-1. This is an "Interest Form" that needs to be completed and placed in a different PINK folder on her door. Returning members will be given preference and new members will be first come, first served. That means fill in your name, grade, and if you were a member last year and return these forms ASAP to be in the club- last day to turn in these forms is Oct 8. Names of club members will be posted after Oct 8. See Mrs. Williams or Mrs. Jensen with any questions.

Next week students will have a chance to suggest prizes that can be earned for those paper stingrays.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Back to School Night for 7th and 8th Grade Parents this evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Parents, please have your student write down his/her entire schedule for you to follow. We will have a bell schedule for you to follow similar to your student’s schedule. During each block you can expect to hear the expectations of the class as well as an explanation of what your student will learn throughout the year. Should you wish to meet with the teacher to discuss private issues, we recommend you send an email to schedule a time to discuss the situation.
During your student’s resource or any other free time you have, we encourage you to stop by Computer Lab 1 to order a yearbook for your student. We would also like to invite you to take advantage of the Scholastic Book Fair going on in the Library/Media Center.
Because we will operate on a time schedule this evening, it will be important for you to be here before 6:30 p.m. so that you can meet each of your child’s teachers.
Spectrum Meeting: The Spectrum meeting will take place in the Library from 5:45-6:30pm.
We look forward to seeing you tonight!
