Middle School - Online Resources
All of these subscription databases and services can be accessed from school without the need to log in. From home, however, you will need to use a login name and/or password for most of them. LCPS students are given a printed brochure each year containing this information, and it's available on the district's intranet web site under Instruction->Instructional Services->Technology and Library Resource. You can also ask your school Librarian or TRT and they'll be happy to tell you.

Scholastic Go! (formerly Grolier Online) - Contains Grolier Encyclopedia, Encyclopedia Americana, and over 40,000 articles, pictures, maps, sounds, and multimedia resources.
Science in Context - Research all science topics, find information from Gale science reference books, experiments, biographies, pictures, illustrations and recommended web sites.
Science Reference Center - Full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, and periodicals
Student Research Center - Search by keyword or by topic to find the most useful search results in magazines, reference books, photos, flags, etc.
