What Is LVVAA?
 

The Loudoun Valley Viking Athletic Association (LVVAA, Inc.) is a non-profit corporation that promotes and supports student athletes and sports activities at Loudoun Valley High School. This is largely accomplished through purchases and maintenance of equipment and supplies which are donated to the school. LVVAA also awards collegiate scholarships to LVHS student athletes. Scholarship awardees are determined by student community commitment through volunteerism, academic success, and school sports participation.

LVVAA is an all volunteer organization, mostly comprised of parents of current LVHS students.  We actually consider every LVHS student athlete parent to be part of the association, since our parents are vital for participating in fundraising and keeping the concessions stands staffed all year long. 
 

   

 

 

Equipment and Facility Contributions to LVHS:
Just to list a few.  .  .
 
Stadium Lights, Bleachers, Stadium Bathroom Facilities, Stadium Benches, Stadium Sideline Fences, Stadium Scoreboard, Press Box Renovations, Stadium Sprinkler and Irrigation Systems, Weight Room Building with Equipment, Scoreboard for Auxiliary Gym, Complete set of Volleyball Equipment, Bleachers for Tennis Courts, Gymnastics/Wrestling Mat, Gymnastic Beam, Horse, Bars and Mats, High Hump Pit, 2 Football Sleds, Soccer, Baseball and Softball Machines, Softball Field Fencing, Softball Bleachers, Dugouts, Scoreboard, Sprinklers and Sound System, and the list goes on and on.
 

Student Athlete Scholarships:

In the past 10 years the Athletic Association has awarded nearly $45,000 in Collegiate Scholarships to LVHS Student Athletes.
 

Fundraising:

·       We generate income by managing the Waterford Fair parking (October)
·       We hold an annual Golf Tournament (June)

·       We manage the concession stands for all LVHS sports events (year round)

·       We offer Membership and Sponshorship options to the Viking Community
