sun  Would you like your summer reading to help make a difference in the lives of children who have been diagnosed with cancer or who will be diagnosed with cancer in the future?
If so, follow this link (the sun) to the site, "A Million Books for HOPE".  This non profit program is a summer read-a-thon led by 8 year old Hope Veazey, a resident of Ashburn, VA who has Leukemia.  Hope is the cousin to one of Simpson's rising 7th graders.  The goal of the read-a-thon is to have children raise money through donations or sponsorships for pediatric cancer research by reading over the summer, with an initial goal of one million books.  You and your parents can visit the site for information on how to participate and other important details of the program.
