The StudentVUE/ParentVUE Report Card navigation menu item will be closed until the 2nd marking period report cards are distributed on February 12, 2016.
 
Rising 6th Grade Music Course Selections 
StudentVUE Music Course Selections for rising 6th graders is open from February 1, 2016 through February 19, 2016. Students log in with their LCPS user ID and password. Parents must have an active ParentVUE account to view or make changes to music selections. If needed, contact your child's school to obtain an Activation Key letter.
Secondary Online Course Requests 
StudentVUE Online Course Requests is ongoing through April 29, 2016. Dates and processes will be provided by your school.
 
The link for the ParentVUE Parent Portal is https://portal.lcps.org. Please update your bookmarks.

Assessment and Grading Expectations:

Rosa Lee Carter Elementary follows the Loudoun County Public Schools Expectations regarding Assessment and Grading

Grading Legend

X = Student is exempt from an assignment and the assignment will not be included in any grade calculation

Z = Student has NOT completed the assignment and the assignment will be calculated as a zero if not turned in.

T = The assignment has been turned in, but not yet graded
The ParentVUE and StudentVUE portals are configured to support a specific load of users.  LCPS is continually working with the vendor to improve the configuration to support our users. 
 
As stated in the ParentVUE activation letters, “although the District strives to provide access to this information at all times, technical difficulties may result in temporary downtime.  Access to the system is subject to technical constraints and internet availability.”
 
During a one month period, the portals were down 5 times for a limited amount of time. We appreciate your patience while we work with the vendor and all support teams to improve the portal experience.  Should a parent need immediate access to student information they may contact school staff or the teacher directly depending on the issue at hand.
