Families new to LCPS will receive ParentVUE Activation Key letters from your child's school. One Activation Key will provide access to all students for whom you have educational rights.

Important!!  The ParentVUE/StudentVUE portals are configured to support a specific user load. LCPS is continually working with the vendor to improve the configuration. 
The ParentVUE activation letters state, “although the District strives to provide access to this information at all times, technical difficulties may result in temporary downtime.  Access to the system is subject to technical constraints and internet availability.” 
We appreciate your patience while we work with the vendor to improve the portal experience.  Should you need immediate access to student information please contact school staff or your child’s teacher.
In order to gain access to the ParentVUE parent portal you need the web address ( and account activation key provided by the school district. The account activation letter will be mailed from the district on September 11, 2015 (expected delivery Sept 12-18) for students who are enrolled as of August 26, 2015.
Parents of students enrolling after August 26, 2015 will receive the account activation letter from their child's school.

Assessment and Grading Expectations:

 In addition to the Loudoun County Public Schools Expectations regarding Assessment and Grading, Park View has the following expectations: 

a. Assignment narratives should reflect description of the content covered by the assessment and posted within the Phoenix gradebook as they are given.

b. Grades will be current on specified Interim dates and will reflect a minimum of 1 assignment per week.

c.  Teachers will update their grade books every week.  

Grading Legend

X = Student is exempt from an assignment and the assignment will not be included in any grade calculation

Z = Student has NOT completed the assignment and the assignment will be calculated as a zero if not turned in.

T = The assignment has been turned in, but not yet graded
