The account activation letter was mailed from the district on September 11, 2015 for students who were enrolled as of August 26, 2015.

Parents of students enrolling after August 26, 2015 will receive the account activation letter from their child's school.

The ParentVUE/StudentVUE portals are configured to support a specific user load. LCPS is continually working with the vendor to improve the configuration.

The ParentVUE activation letters state, “although the District strives to provide access to this information at all times, technical difficulties may result in temporary downtime. Access to the system is subject to technical constraints and internet availability.”

Assessment and Grading Expectations:

In addition to the Loudoun County Public Schools Expectations regarding Assessment and Grading, Blue Ridge has the following expectations:

a. Teachers will input grades within 10 days of assignment completion date.

b. Blue Ridge teachers will have 3 categories that will compute your student's average.  Everyone will have a formative category, which will NOT impact the average.  Teachers will also have two categories in which to put assessments based on the number of strands addressed.  How these categories are weighted is determined by individual departments

Grading Legend

X = Student is exempt from an assignment and the assignment will not be included in any grade calculation

Z = Student has NOT completed the assignment and the assignment will be calculated as a zero if not turned in.

T = The assignment has been turned in, but not yet graded
