This is my 1st year as the nurse at John Champe, but my 8th year as a school nurse. I worked in the Atlanta area and moved to Loudoun last year and served 1 year on the Hearing & Vision committee and substituted in health offices around the county. I have been a nurse for 25 years and worked in many capacities including hospital and public health nursing. I am passionate about helping teenagers learn and succeed healthily in school. I provide basic first aid, dispense medications and respond to school health emergencies. On the left side of this page are quick links to information about health services and health forms you may need. Please remember all medications are kept in the health office including over-the-counter items such as cough drops and must be dropped off by the parent. Emergency medications such as inhalers, epi-pens and diabetic medications are allowed to be carried by students but do require forms to be completed. Please never hesitate to contact me about your questions or concerns. And GO KNIGHTS!
