SEMESTER 2 REVIEW
We are having a terrific year here at Blue Ridge! As we commence the second semester, we took some time to reflect upon school expectations and procedures. Each dean met with their respective grade levels during their Resource blocks for a refocus Power Point presentation. Topics that were reviewed include: Morning Procedures, Acceptable Lunch and Resource Behavior, Appropriate Attire, Bus Safety, Prohibited Items, LCPS Weapons and Safe Harbor Policies, General Expectations of Behavior and Consequences.
We also addressed the importance of students using good judgment in their daily decision making. Our Character Counts program is an ongoing reminder of integrity that focuses on caring, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness. In addition, Semester II marks the advent of Blue Ridge’s Cornerstone Awards. These awards recognize student achievement in academic areas. Please view attached Power Point for more details.
