The Practice SAT/ACT sponsored by th PTSO will be administered at Woodgrove High School on Oct. 29th.  Registration is online with the Kaplan link. Deadline to register is Oct. 24th. For further information contact the Career Ctr. or Counselor's office.

If you like to sing or beat-box, come out and audition for Woodgrove's acapella groups!  They will take place Thursday September 22nd. For ladies the auditions are at 8:00 AM in the choir room.  For gentlemen, auditions are during club blocks in the choir room. See Mrs. Morgan for a pass or for more info.  You will be singing the National Anthem for the audition.
 
Powder Puff Participants:  All practices will be held at the stadium.  Forms and T-Shirt money is due to Mrs. Butler ASAP.

Boys lacrosse is cancelled tonight due to field conditions. Will possibly be rescheduled for Thursday.
 
 The Academic Team competed on It's Academic this past Saturday. Josef Zimmerman, Patrick Ramsey and Trevor Demmin-Griggs represented us well. They scored a strong 500 in the match but ultimately took 2nd place to Thomas Jefferson.

Congratulations to Girls Varsity Field Hockey for winning 3-1 over Tuscarora last night!  Jenson Bury scored 2 goals and Addison Haveland scored 1.  Their record right now stands at 6-1.  Come out to their next game on Monday, September 19 right here at home against Dominion at 6:30 pm and cheer them on! Keep up the great work ladies!!
 
The Woodgrove Cycling Club will have its first ride on Sunday September 18th.  We leave from the Woodgrove parking lot at 2PM and return by 4PM.  All are welcome to join the ride!  Bring a helmet, water and a snack.  If there are questions, see Mr. Brown or Ms. Pidgeon.

For more information, please see flyers around school. This is part of a national product drive to aid homeless shelters.
