National Read Across America Day
Today is March 2, National Read Across America Day. It's also Dr. Seuss' birthday. He would have been 112 years old today. In celebration of his birthday, the Student Council has provided each adult in the building with a blue piece of cardstock to show what they are reading. Many are hanging in the halls near classroom and office doors. Check out what the faculty and staff in the building are currently reading.
In FACEtime today, we have a short video to show promoting this Friday's 4th Annual Dodgeball Tournament.
We leave you this morning with a quote from Dr. Seuss:
Today you are you
That is truer than true
There is no one alive
Who is you-er than you
Shout loud, "I am lucky
to be what I am
Thank goodness I'm not
just a clam or a ham
Or a dusty old jar of
sour gooseberry jam
I am what I am
That's a great thing to be
If I say so myself,
Happy Birthday to Me!"
