Hello!

My name is Thania Arostegui and I moved 11 years ago to Virginia from Mexico, where I was born and raised.  I live with my husband and my 5-year-old son.  As a parent, I know that being a mom, it’s a difficult journey but it is worth it.  So, here at Rolling Ridge I am very happy to be the Parent Liaison because I can help parents to make this journey a little bit easier, as far as the education for their children relates, helping them to facilitate the communication with the school and community agency referrals, encouraging them more involvement in the school, so if you need to get in touch with a teacher, to know more about the school and their procedures, or need assistance in making connections and accessing services or just stop by for a tour of the school, please contact me.

¡Hola!

Mi  nombre es Thania Aróstegui.  Nací en México y tengo viviendo aquí en Virginia 11 años.  Vivo con mi esposo y con mi hijo de 5 años.  Como padre de familia, se que serlo no es un camino fácil, pero vale la pena.  Así que, aquí en Rolling Ridge estoy muy feliz de ser el enlace familiar porque puedo ayudar a los padres a hacer este viaje un poco más fácil, en cuanto a la educación de sus hijos se refiere, ayudándoles a facilitar la comunicación con la escuela y con las agencias comunitarias, alentándolos también a tener más participación en la escuela.   Así es que si usted como padre de familia necesita ponerse en contacto con un maestro o quizás necesita saber más sobre la escuela y sus procedimientos, necesita ayuda para realizar las conexiones y el acceso a los servicios, o simplemente quiere hacer un tour por la escuela, por favor no dude en ponerse en contacto conmigo.  De lunes a jueves de 8:30am a 1:30pm.  Por teléfono al 571-454-3550 o al correo electrónico thania.arostegui@lcps.org
