Seniors: Project Grad is June 10, 11:30PM-5AM.  Pick up ticket order forms in the office or online.

 

Seniors who are joining the Corps of Cadets or any ROTC program should mark their calendars for Wednesday, May 22. An SBHS graduate will be available in front of the cafeteria during all lunch shifts to answer any questions you might have about what to expect and preparedness. Questions? Attention FBLA members Our last meeting of the year will be held after school on Tuesday, May 12 in L-514.

 

Seniors - there are still seats available for the Senior Class trip to Busch Gardens on Thursday, May 30.  Tickets are $70.00 and include charter bus, breakfast and snacks on the bus, and admission to the park.  Pick up a permission form in the main office and return it with your payment to the Senior Box in the main office.  Only a few seats left, so hurry - you don't want to miss this trip!

 

The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is offering a $500 need based scholarship to a graduating male with a GPA between 2.0 and 2.99. Essay and letters of recommendation are required. Applications are available in the career center, and the deadline is May 24.

 

Yearbook Pick-up starts Tuesday, May 21 in Room 603 with seniors being able to pick up their books before or after school or during all four lunches and last block. Seniors who have not purchased a book can buy one beginning Tuesday for $80.00.  Make checks payable to SBHS Yearbooks and see Ms. Sholl in Room 603.  Junior pick-up day is Wednesday, Sophomores are Thursday, and Freshmen can pick theirs up on Friday.  Extra yearbooks will be sold on a first come first serve basis by grade on each grade's pick-up day.

 

The senior issue of The Bulldog Tribune will be available Tuesday, May 28 following the senior awards ceremony.  Don't forget to pick one up to see where all of your classmates will be attending college.  Plus, we've got special messages from some of your favorite teachers, so be here on Tuesday to get this much anticipated issue.

 

 FEA Members: Our last meeting is on Thursday the 23rd at 8:15 am! We will elect officers and discuss some other important information. Only the secretary and treasurer positions are available. Fill out the forms online and bring them to the meeting if you would like to run for office.

 

Also...SENIORS...If you are eligible for an FEA honor cord, please email Mrs. Carlo ASAP! The requirement for an FEA honor cord is to have maintained a 3.50 cumulative average, turned in your report card for third quarter and a teacher evaluation from tutoring.

 

Congratulations to the Stone Bridge girls soccer team for winning the Liberty District tournament on Friday night with a 4-0 win over McLean.  The Bulldogs record improves to 15-0-2 overall. They will play again on Tuesday night at 7:00pm when they host Jeb Stuart in the first round of the Northern Region Tournament.

 

There will be a FCA meeting this Friday, and every Friday in room 315, everyone is welcome!
