Instruments need to be brought to school on August 30.  Student’s names should be on both ends and inside the case.  Please use really sticky labels or tape.  Replace name labels throughout the year, as needed.  Keep a pencil inside the case at all times.

Supplies needed:  These should be kept in case, and replenished as needed.

All Saxophones – neck strap, swab/pad saver, mouthpiece brush, cork

      grease, six (6) medium or #3 reeds (or stronger).  Bari Sax = 2 1/2.

Trumpet/Cornet, Baritone, and Tuba – valve oil, tuning slide

                           grease, “snake”, mouthpiece brush, soft cloth.

Trombone – slide oil or cream, tuning slide grease, “snake”, mouthpiece

                   brush, soft cloth.

Percussion  - Drum sticks.

Guitar and Bass – extra strings, picks.

Concert Dress Code

Jazz Band Shirt, Khaki dress pants, dress shoes (no sneakers).

********Students will need to wear this for all concerts**********

          Except the May concert, where they will wear concert black

          and white (so they don’t have to change between performances).
