About Miss Pedrick
I would like to take the time to tell you a little bit about myself, and express again how excited I am to be teaching at Meadowland Elementary. I grew up in New Jersey and frequently return to visit my friends and family. I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University. I enjoyed my college and student teaching experience and appreciated the opportunity to work with multiple grade levels. After college I taught 5th grade in Niceville Florida for 3 years. The sun was great, but I missed my family, so I moved to Maryland and taught 3rd grade for two years. Seeking more change and adventure I started teaching 4th grade in Loudoun County in 2010.
This past year at Meadowland was amazing. I really enjoyed working with the teachers and students. I had a great time participating in such events as Student/Teacher Basketball Game, Field Day, Family Fun Night, Talent Show and the Fourth Grade Play. I am going to continue working with Newspaper Club and Flag Football as well. Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to another great year in fourth grade!
This year has been amazing so far! I enjoy working with the students and have had a blast attending all of the fun events such as Bingo Night and Family Fun Night. I am looking forward to the rest of the school year. Some exciting things that we will be doing in fourth grade include the field trip to Gunston Hall, the fourth grade musical- Music through the Ages, Student- Teacher basketball, Field Day and The Talent Show! We are also working hard and preparing for the SOL testing in May. I hope that March goes out like a lamb!
