PBIS Recognition Program

Student Recogntion: As a means to encourage pro-social skills and behaviors at KWC, in conjunction with the Positive Behavior Intervention Support program, we have implemented a student recognition program which includes the student recognition levels below and daily drawings on the morning announcements from the Rockin’ Crocs tickets students receive.

These are random drawings from the many Croc tickets awarded each day for positive behavior in classrooms and common areas such as the hallway, cafeteria, and restrooms. The names are published in the monthly newsletter and on the Monthly Recognition page.

When students receive a total of 25 Croc tickets (all are counted daily), they get their name on a crocodile placed on the PBIS Wall of Fame in the cafeteria. The levels of student recognition are listed as follows:

Level I (25 tickets) Croc with name on PBIS Wall of Fame iin cafeteria

Level II (50 tickets) certificate and picture placed on the face of their Croc on the Wall of Fame

Level III (75 tickets) certificate, lunch with the principal, and featured in a Croc poster

Level IV (100 tickets) Citizenship Medal at the end-of-year assembly

Teacher Recognition Levels

Award 100 tickets to students – A Menu of rewards from which to select, such as our reserved parking spaces, and an extended duty-free lunch period.

Top 5 Teachers with the most sets of 100 tickets given out will be honored at our assemblies.
