Third Grade

Hello, I'm Miss Holly Fantaskey! I am thrilled to continuing working with a fantastic team of teachers, students and families at Mill Run!  Prior to here, I taught third and fourth grades at La Jolla Elementary in La Jolla, California which is part of the San Diego Unified School District.  I left teaching in 2002 to return to college and pursue another passion of mine - a career in broadcast and communications.  After working for many years in sports broadcasting and public relations, I decided to return to my true passion in life - teaching!  
 
In addition to teaching, I volunteer for many non-profit and charitable foundations that benefit the military community and underserved children.  I am a graduate of Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. 
 
Some of my interests and passions in life include reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, helping and inspiring others and, of course, teaching!
