The start of each school year is a time of great excitement, and I am thrilled to be at Mill Run for my sixth year as a teacher in grade two. Loudoun County is home to me! I grew up in western Loudoun, and returned here after graduating from James Madison University. I was hired at Guilford Elementary where I taught third grade and kindergarten. In 1995, I helped open Sanders Corner Elementary and taught kindergarten there for five years. During my time at Sanders Corner, I continued my own education and earned a Master's Degree from Shenandoah University. My husband and I love living in Ashburn with our two boys, dog Sam and 2 cats. Jack will be at Mill Run next year as a 5th grader, and Patrick will begin high school at Stone Bridge. I'm looking forward to meeting all of my students and their families this fall.
