Appropriate attire for P.E. class and school
- The clothes that students wear can help them to be successful and safe. Students are expected to wear tennis shoes or sneakers to physical education class. Please no crocs (unless they cover the entire foot--should not see toes or heels), sandals, boots ,dress shoes of any kind. The same footwear is also required for non-P.E. days as well because of recess. If a girl decides to wear a dress to school, please have her wear shorts, leggings, etc... underneath. Depending on the activity, students may be asked to not participate if they are not prepared for class.
Parent/Doctor notes for P.E. class
- There may be times during the year that a student will have limitations due to an injury or illness. Students must have a note written by a parent to be excused from class. This note is valid for up to one full week of school or three physical education classes. A physician's note is required when a student must refrain from activity longer than one week. While students sit out of P.E. class, they work on classroom work or relevant P.E. activities. Please provide a note from a physician when your child returns to school after removal of a cast, for example, to clear for safe participation.
