Meet Mrs. Sissy Grimm
Leap into Learning in 2nd Grade!
Mrs. Sissy Grimm has been teaching for Loudoun County Public Schools for over 35 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. She started her career in educating Loudoun's children at Catoctin Elementary in Leesburg, Virginia and still continues to instruct and educate children at this exceptional school. Mrs. Grimm has spent her entire career in educating second graders - she has a true love for Grade 2!
Mrs. Grimm is a mother of three adult children and a grandmother of four boys and one girl. She is lucky to have all her children and grandchildren living in Leesburg and or nearby. The grandchildren are Logan, Keiran, Peyton, Ava and Rylan. The 5 grandkids are the "love of her life". Three of her grandchildren live only 1 mile away! One grandson attends Catoctin Elementary.
Mrs. Grimm has an abundance of pets in her home, but her most precious is her cockatiel named Luna and her bearded dragon, Blackbeard. Her "granddog" Mason, is a joy to the entire family.
Mrs. Grimm's passion for helping others is evident in her volunteer work with Loudoun Interfaith Relief. She has served as a Director on the Executive Board for Interfaith for two terms and has volunteered every Thursday evening for over twenty years.
