Dear Teachers and Staff,

Happy 2012, Wishing you the best always!

Please take note of my new schedule. I will be at Ball's Bluff every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 12 pm. Please be reassured that I am planning to continue servicing your needs and the needs of our families with the same level of care and professionalism. If you need something from me during the days that I am not scheduled to be at Ball's Bluff please don't hesitate to e-mail your requests, give me a call or drop a note on my desk. I will be sure to check my e-mail everyday and follow-up with you to any concerns or needs you may have.

I accepted the same position with Tuscarora High School and my schedule with them will be Tuesdays and Thursdays so you can always call me at T.H.S. if you need me.

What is a Parent Liaison? A Parent Liaison works to bridge the communication between school & home by helping parents get the information, help & support they need to ensure their child's academic & social success in school. The primary role of the Parent Liaison is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of their children.

How can the Parent Liaison help me? Parents sometimes feel uneasy about sharing their questions or concerns with teachers or school administration. Because good communication between home & school is such a vital part of your child's academic success, the Parent Liaison will listen to your concerns & then work with you to make sure your situation, question or point of view is expressed & understood. They will help & support you if you need to find ways to resolve any issues that may be hindering your child's success in school. Parent Liaisons want to be sure that you understand what you can do to get involved, keep informed, share information & help your child do his or her best.
