The transition from high school into a two or four year college or university can be stressful and starts earlier than you might expect. Please join us for our 6th Annual Fall College Planning night, an evening devoted to helping students and parents learn the nuances of the college planning process.

Our College Planning panel will feature college admissions counselors from the University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, James Madison University, the College of William and Mary, and Northern Virginia Community College.  These college counselors will begin the night discussing the “Top 3 Reasons Why…” to choose their institution.  After that, we will open the forum for questions from parents and students directed at our panel.  We encourage each family to come prepared with general college questions for our panel.

Whether you have "walked this road" before with previous students, or you are just beginning to navigate the process of college planning, we can help!

RE: Username and Password Reset

Effective August 14, 2015 all student Naviance/Family Connection account passwords have been reset.

Initially, this will mean the following:

Your Username is your Student ID Number in this format: 123456

Your default password is your Birth Date in this format: mmddyy

We believe this practice will create consistency and overcome the challenge of remembering multiple usernames and passwords when accessing different applications used in LCPS.

If you have any questions or require assistance with Naviance/Family Connection, please contact the School Counseling office.
