Volunteer Loudoun Update:

“Volunteer Loudoun suspends the Student Service Award program…”


Due to limited resources, Volunteer Loudoun has announced the suspension of its volunteer service award program for students in grades 9-12. Students may still consider pursuing the President’s Volunteer Service Award. This national program encourages individuals, families, and groups to demonstrate a sustained commitment to their community, and awards those whose commitment meets established criteria. Interested students may want to seek out organizations that participate in the program or ask organizations for which they currently volunteer to consider registering as a certifying organization. The award criteria for individuals and certifying organizations is available at
