Mrs. Howe-Freeman is simply thrilled about her third year as a high school reading specialist at Potomac Falls High School! Her seventh year in Loudoun County has proven to be an exciting run thus far! She is not new to education, however, having taught for nineteen years in total...wow, that's a lot! She has taught elementary, middle, and college level courses and loves this profession. Mrs. Howe-Freeman has an Associate of Arts in General Studies with a concentration in Education from Prince George's Community College. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary/Middle School Education with a concentration in Language Arts from Frostburg State University. She also has a Master's degree in Reading Education from Bowie State University. She has completed her certification in Supervision and Administration from George Mason University. Boy, does she like to go to school!
On a more personal note, she lives in Potomac Falls with her hubby, Sam, their 12 year old son, Tristan and 3 year old son, Phillip. In their free time, they all love to play board games of all varieties especially Scrabble and Magic. Ms. Howe-Freeman LOVES Scrabble, play a game with her sometime! They are all active participants in Boy Scout Troop 966 out of the Sterling Ruritan. A leopard gecko named Captain is her super cool pet! You can usually find her walking on the paths in and around Potomac Falls so don't be shy, say "Hello". Mrs. Howe-Freeman absolutely loves Garfieldas evidenced by her classroom! She has a real passion for reading and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to spread that same appreciation of the written word to ALLof her students and the PFHS community.Email Mrs. Howe-Freemananytime and let's talk!
