From the Principal's Desk...

We knew if we blinked during March, April would be here…and so it is.

During the third quarter, we acknowledge the challenges the weather presented to all of us, and our instructional program.  We are very happy to embark upon spring and all the exciting events associated with warmer weather, Spring Break, and putting forth the effort to make these final nine weeks our BeST ever!

We continue to recognize the commitment of our hard working students, our dedicated instructional staff, and of course our most valued partners in education…our parents. As we have known all along, working together, we can be the very BeST.

Belmont Station is proud to be recognized for a very rigorous academic program but the recreational aspect of childhood growth and development is also a critical element of our total educational program.  We are aware of the importance of sports, dance, music, scouting, and church activities in the young and busy lives of our students.  We are proud of their accomplishments and encourage their participation in these extracurricular activities.

While the spring weather is surely in our very near future, please help us make this fourth quarter as productive as possible.  Encourage the children to recognize that when time is of the essence, they have to make smart choices.  Enjoying outside time with family and friends is always better than a video game or TV.

We are committed to careful selection of assignments; therefore, families will know those that do come home are necessary to reinforce instruction and learning.  Please support the staff by checking homework and assuring your child is prepared for school each day.  Together, we can make this last quarter positive and productive.

We hope everyone has a wonderfully relaxing spring break and takes the time necessary to rejuvenate and gear up for the last quarter of the school year, as unbelievable as that may seem!
