Laura Ratliffholds a B.S. in physics from JMU and a Ph. D. in physics from UVA. She did research for the federal government for 10 years at NIST in Gaithersburg, MD. Her research interests include atomic and molecular spectroscopy, optics, and surface physics.
She has been teaching in Loudoun County since 2007.
