Mrs. Golden is a National Board Certified Teacher and last summer became a teacher consultant for the Northern VA Writing project. She has been teaching at SRMS for eleven years. Prior to teaching in Loudoun, she taught four years in private school. She graduated from Andrews University in 1988 and completed her Masters in Educational Leadership through Walden University in 2007. In addition to teaching, she worked in the business world as a trainer, manager and quality coach from 1992-2002. She has a passion for being a lifelong learner and assisting others in learning and developing a passion for reading and writing. She was the recipient of Seneca Ridge's MS Classroom Teacher of the year for 2005-2006 and was nominated for the Agnes Meyers Award in 2012. She is married, and between her and her husband, they have six children, two son-in-laws and four grandchildren.
