Mrs. Rambo

6th Grade U.S. History

HELLO!

I am so excited to be starting another year of teaching at Seneca Ridge. This will be my 5th year teaching at Seneca; however, I have also spent time prior to this at Seneca Ridge in long-term substitute positions and my student teaching experience for 7th grade History.   I graduated with a Masters in Education specializing in Middle School Social Studies and Math from Old Dominion University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University in Business and Marketing.   Prior to pursuing a vocation in education, I worked in the business world in sales, product management and project management.

Most Seneca students know me for teaching the 6th grade math curriculum.  I am very excited to get the opportunity to "change hats" and teach 6th grade history this year.

Grading

A student’s grade is based on what has been learned or mastered during the marking period.  The grade will reflect a student’s performance.  These are Summative Assessments  (Tests and Quizzes) that demonstrate a student’s understanding and mastery of the class content.
