Professional Biography

                                    ELL Teacher

 This is Ms. Ross's twelfth year at Park View, her thirteenth year in Loudoun County, and her nineteenth year as an ELL teacher. She received a BA in Literature/Writing from UC San Diego and an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction (ESL) from George Mason University, and she is licensed to teach ELL, social science, and English. This year she teaches Beginning ELL Social Studies Concepts and team-teaches World History 1 with Mr. Hollowell and World History 2 with Ms. Barton. She is available after school for extra help on Mondays from 4-5:15PM, or by appointment. Her class schedule is here.

In addition to teaching, she also co-sponsors the Multicultural Club (belly dance team, Middle Eastern-South Asian Society (MESA) , and other groups), helps organize the annual Multicultural Show as well as other performances, and helps with the Patriot Awards ceremony in the spring. She is
a native of northern Virginia, a fourth-generation teacher, and a published author.
