How can parents help students with FLES?
Ask your child questions about Spanish class activities and topics. Children tend to enthusiastically carry these lessons home to share with family members. Subjects taught so far this year include greetings and farewells, numbers, school objects, days of the weeks, colors and family members. Bilingual children's books are a great way to practice Spanish together. Links posted in the Student and Parent Resources area provide more ideas of how to reinforce Spanish at home.
