A brief overview and history of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, as well as the technical aspects for which instructional technology personnel within schools may be called upon for support, will be addressed.

Represent! Learn a variety of strategies to enhance the literacy skills of students, including individuals with disabilities and second language learners, using engaging visual supports for reading and written language.

Come see how an elementary classroom uses technology and creativity to put together a presentation about a fictional “business” to learn concepts relating to economics.

Teachers can set up virtual tours around the world for students to explore by embedding pictures, text, and hyperlinks to websites and video clips in Google Earth.
