Electronic Books (E-Books)
The following resources include illustrated, animated, audio, and
text-based E-books. Text-based E-books can be copied and pasted into
text to speech software programs to be read aloud. ReadPlease is one
example of a text to speech program. It is available on the Loudoun
County Public Schools computer network, and can also be downloaded for
free from the website at http://www.readplease.com.

Online quizzes, book reports, lesson plans, and other related activities are also available. Some books are available in Spanish or French. Loudoun County Public Schools has a subscription to TumbleBooks and TumbleReadables. Contact your school’s Technology Resource Teacher or Library Media Specialist for the usernames and passwords.
